Virtual Learning Information

Attention students and families:

The Board of Education voted on December 14, 2020 to return our PK/Head Start through 5th grade students on Plan A (five days a week) beginning on January 21, 2021 for face-to-face learning. Our middle and high school students will return on Plan B (AA / BB with Wednesday - Remote Instruction) on January 21, 2021.

Parents/students have until January 8, 2021 to determine if they will remain virtual or if they will return to in person learning. Students who have already submitted a MOU for full virtual learning do not have to submit another form. Only students who want to change their status to fully virtual need to complete the MOU. Students wishing to return from full virtual to in person learning need only to contact the school principal. The principal will update the Virtual Student Database in the RCS Data Mart. Parents/students have until January 8, 2021 to decide. On January 8th, student status as virtual only or face-to-face is final through the end of the 2020-2021 school year, per the Board of Education recommendation. Parent To Dos: 1. Complete this Google Form about your plans that Dr. Whitten shared:

https://forms.gle/uqBykJN2xjtnmLLd8 2. If you will return face to face on 1/21/21- no further action needed. 3. If you want to remain virtual (have you completed a MOU?) you must complete a MOU. If you already have completed a MOU, no further action is needed.
