Community Partnership Programs
The students at Dillard Academy are precious and important future members of our community. There is always a need for programs, mentors and tutoring to ensure that the children at Dillard get every chance to succeed.
Dillard believes strongly in forming strong, lasting and productive bonds with community groups to improve the quality of our children's lives. Dillard is working together with several community groups to implement several special programs at our school.

Activities/Clubs
Below are the clubs and after school activities available for students.
Information and applications for activities are available in the office.
Choral Club - Dillard's Choral Club performs at Dillard PTO Meetings and offers their beautiful voices to share the world of music with parents, staff, students and community members. Not only does the Choral Club perform for the student body, they also perform at off campus events in the community. Chorus meets weekly on Wednesdays until 4:00 after school.

Art Club - Dillard's Art club offers experiences with a variety of art media, including water colors, oil painting, sculpture and other exciting projects and activities. Constructing 3-dimential sculptures to beautify our school's cafeteria, organizing creative activities for community nights and designing props for PTO programs, Dillard's Art Club offers an outlet for students to explore their creativity and dreams.
Good News Club - The Good News Club is an exciting, fun-filled weekly club for students in Kindergarten through 5th grade. We have Bible lessons, learn memory verses, sing songs, play games, and have a snack. Your child will learn character qualities, moral values, and Biblical principles. Our club is held every Tuesday after school from 2:45 until 4:00. We now have about 50 members! If at any time you would like for your child to join, just request a form. We'd love to have them!
Backpack Pals - This is a special program sponsored by Madison Presbyterian Church. Students that are selected for this program receive a backpack filled with food every Friday. It is hoped that the food will be eaten, and more will be wanted for the next weekend.
Every Wednesday a member of Madison Presbyterian Church arrives at Dillard and brings 30-40 bags of food.
Every Friday, children take home a bag filled with a variety of canned and boxed food. The program is anonymous and it costs the parents nothing. Food allergies and sensitivities along with other health issues are considered as each bag is filled.
This program is another way Dillard and the community are working together to help our students be successful!
Thank you Madison Presbyterian Church!
Student Ambassadors - Dillard's student council is made up of responsible and caring students from 1-5th grades. These individuals maintain high expectations on class work and behavior and are selected as the leaders of our school. Their purpose is to welcome new students to Dillard
